The Day After Christmas

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! I'd been wanting to post these outfit pictures that were taken over the weekend, but with all the last-minute shopping and preparation for Christmas, it was impossible. This is what I wore on Saturday for my goddaughter's first communion. I wanted to go with a somewhat conservative look while still looking feminine, so what better than this skater dress? I'm obsessed with burgundy, and the dress is just so flirty and cute. I paired them with my latest obsession, these neutral colored platform pumps with a cap-toe and ankle strap.

Casual Wednesday

It seems like alll of my recent outfits have had the color burgundy incorporated in them..can you blame me? The color is everywhere this season, from long knit sweaters to faux-leather pants. Being that today was my only day off and I'm a little sick, my main priority was to be cozy and comfortable. We all know that its boot season, and yes its nice to wear 5-inch platform boots, but you also need a comfortable pair of flat boots, for those long Christmas shopping trips to the mall. I always like to carry these in my bag for whenever I get tired of my heels. These knee-high leather boots complete my outfits without dressing them down.

Burgundy and Leopard

As you can see in my last couple of posts, I practically wear these booties every day, and simply alternate from the black to the taupe. I just can't help it since I feel like they "go" with everything. This time I kept it fairly simple, sticking to basics, and adding leopard print to bring it all in together. I love the contrast burgundy and leopard make.

Catching Up..

Hey loves! How I've missed this, being able to sit on my computer, with a cup of coffee, and blog.. I know I've been away for over a month now, and I sincerely apologize for that. Truth is, so much has been going on, and I just haven't had any spare time.  I even considered deleting the blog, but I just couldn't, I love it too much! I hope I can come up with a good schedule soon, because I truly miss sharing my daily outfit photos and receiving your feedback with those wonderful comments. Here are some of my latest pictures that were taken with my phone, so I do apologize in advance for the not so good quality and the mirror pictures taken at work lol. These oxford flats are my latest obsession. I was a little hesitant at first, because they weren't really my style, but now I can't get enough of them, and want to wear them every day!
Just another outfit for work, LOVE the shoes!
I just HAD to have these booties in both colors! Debating on whether or not I should get a 3rd pair, the burgundy..

The Fugitive

In my November wish list I mentioned how I was on the hunt for a military inspired jacket because I had recently gotten some booties. Well here I present to you the military inspired booties. I had such a hard time picking out what color to get, but I decided to go with the taupe. But I'm thinking of getting the black ones as well since I am so obsessed with this style. What do you think, is it okay to have the same style in different colors?

November Wish List

I have to confess, my shopping has gotten a little out of control. Fall and winter seasons are my favorite, and I find myself wanting everything I see in stores. So I've decided to start a monthly wish list, where I pick the top items I'm currently craving, and when I go shopping, focus on getting only those, and nothing more, or at least try..
1. Oxblood colored Skinny Jeans- this is the "it" color this season and I just need a pair in my life! I came across a pair at Forever 21, and when I went back for them, they no longer had my size ! :(
2. Army inspired Jacket- I just got some taupe suede military inspired booties, that would go perfect with an army green jacket.
3. Nude pointed toe Suede Pumps- Every woman should own a pair of these!
4. Sweater Dress- Perfect for this time of year, paired with leggings and knee high flat boots.
5. Tweed Jacket- I just saw this yesterday and I fell in love with it!
6. Dark Green pants- Not a color I'm usually fond of, but these pants would go great with some fall pieces!
7. Blue Platform pumps- These babies are beautiful! I wanted them as soon as I first saw them. The color is so bold, that they would turn a simple boring dress into a stunning, head-turning outfit.
8. Black bag with Gold Detail- Simply a must-have.

What are some of the items on your November wish list?

Blue and Oxblood

This isn't the most obvious color combination, in fact I was a bit hesitant when mixing these shades, but I feel like they complement each other so well that I decided to take a risk. There's just something about these shoes, that I want to wear them with everything, neutrals or not.

Studs and More Studs!

A while back ago I mentioned how I didn't know whether or not I should ditch the heels while at work. They are perfection, but let's be honest, they hurt! So I've found an alternative, these black studded loafers. We all know that both studs and loafers are a huge trend this season, so I guess I got the best of both worlds with these babies! Okay so maybe they're not actual studs, but the little stones give them that "girly" touch, allowing you to still look cute without having to deal with the pain that comes after wearing 6 inch heels.

This top and leggings are also my new obsession, and staple pieces in my closet for this season. The studded collar on the top is right on trend and I'm loving the different textures on these leggings, they are super stretchy, and part leather!
