Striped Maxi Shirt Dress

Dress: Forever 21 (here) | Clutch: Express

Happy Monday! Now that Spring is here, I'm so excited for all the cute dresses! I recently stopped by Forever 21, and found some amazing pieces. I kind of stopped shopping there because I thought I was "too old" but I had forgotten that they have such versatile styles, catering to every age and body type. And let's not forget affordability, I got it for only $27! Be sure to check out their site for all the great new arrivals.

Floral High-Low Wrap Dress

Dress: here | Heels: Aldo

I don't know if it's the fact that Spring is exactly one week away, but I truly feel like I'm going through a transition in all aspects of my life, hence the lack of posts this past week. I really wanted to take some time for myself, my home, and my family. For the first time in a while, I feel optimistic and unafraid of change. I'm not sure in which direction I'm going, but that's okay. I want to take this blog to the next level, as well as myself. Whether it's being a better mother to Sebastian, partner to Irven, staying organized, cooking more meals, and making time for what really matters. I'd like to improve on everything and become a better version of myself.
About my outfit, there's not much to say other than the fact that I love wrap dresses, and even more when they feature a floral design. I know I know, "Florals for spring? Groundbreaking." lol. But what can I say, I love my floral print, and even more so when it involves a black dress.

Spring Fever

Cami NYC | Cardigan: H&M (only $17!) | Jeans: Zara | Heels: Louboutin | Bag: Zara | Sunglasses: Quay |

Happy first day of March! This makes me so happy, Spring is officially 19 days away, and Daylight savings time is about to start. I absolutely love winter, but the gloomy weather and coziness of the season makes me never want to leave my house or bed. I'm ready to be out and about again, and sooo over it being dark before 5pm. I got this cami last spring while I was still working at Bloomingdales and hadn't gotten a chance to wear it since.  It's a splurge, but the quality is totally worth it. The powdery sky-blue hue is the perfect staple for Spring. I'm slowly transitioning my wardrobe, so I paired it with this light gray cardigan from H&M that I got on sale and matching light blue Louboutins.
