Neutral Spots

    | Top: c/o Chicnova (here) | Skirt: Forever 21 | Shoes: Malia t strap heel c/o Sole Society (here) | Bag: Priscilla         oversized satchel c/o Sole Society (here) |

Chiffon blouses have literally taken over my closet. Yes you can see through your shirt if you stare long enough, but you can't pass up one of the sexiest feminine trends. The loose fit, V-neckline with buttons, and colorful spots make it such a versatile piece. I wanted to dress it up my first time styling it, and the shoes and bag were the perfect finishing touches.

Shoe of the Week: Malia by Sole Society

Shoe: Malia t strap heel c/o Sole Society (here)

Black and white has undoubtedly been the biggest trend this year, so you can only imagine my excitement when I saw it in heels. This color combination is already sleek and elegant, but add a classic t-strap and this turns into the most sophisticated, fashionable shoe of the season! The heel is only 4 1/4 inches with a 1/2 inch platform. I love that they're so versatile; you can easily dress them up with a pencil skirt or down with some jeans. The quality is quite impressive with the material including a mixture of faux leather, patent and suede. The fit is true to size, and amazingly comfortable. If you'd like to purchase the stunningly classic Malia, you can buy it (here)

Aqua Elegance

| Dress: c/o Oasap (here) | Shoes: ShoeDazzle | Clutch: Forever 21 | Necklace: H&M |

I have a soft spot for dresses, particularly during Summer. I enjoy the fact that you can just throw them on without having to worry about putting an outfit together; you simply accessorize, and you end up with such a feminine look, not to mention the comfort! Maxi dresses are my favorite..every time I wear them I feel like a Greek goddess. I love the color of this one, it's actually a little more green in person. The chiffon overlay with the split detail gives it such a relaxed look. My first thought was to dress it up with a classic clutch and hot pink six inch heels. But I cannot wait to style it again with a more relaxed vibe.

Shoe of the Week: Olsenboye Cherry Slip Ons

Shoe: Olsenboye Cherry Slip Ons: (here)

I have to admit, it felt a little bizarre doing a shoe of the week post on a flat slip on, but it's Monday, let's go casual. I got these a while back, yet had refrained from wearing them simply because I wanted to post about them first. When shopping for these, I was tempted to just buy another pair of heels, but truth be told, I desperately need more flat shoes. Yes heels are beautiful and make any outfit look ten times better, but they are not practical for a day at Six Flags or walking around the beach. I love that even though these are simple slip ons, they make such a statement with the bright colored floral print, and look quite feminine.
Fit: I went half a size down.

Hearts & Spikes

| Top/Bag: c/o Oasap | Skirt: H&M | Shoes: Bakers | Spike Bracelet: Asos | Forever 21 black studded bangle | H&M rose colored bangle |

I've always felt like burgundy is a color that is only worn during winter time. But I am fascinated with this hue, and could not restrain from wearing it in mid summer. Being that it's a mini skirt, it was pretty easy to transition it from the winter look styled with tights, booties, and a sweater(here), to a Summer look with a simple top and pumps. I just love the mix of hearts and spikes all in one outfit.

Shoe of the Week: Nylah by Madison

When it comes to my heels, I usually lean towards a solid color, making them classic and easier to style. But I was immediately captivated with the geometric print of this shoe; it's unlike anything I've seen or purchased before. The classic pointed toe, 4-inch heel, and ankle straps (all my latest obsession) was like the icing on the cake, making them even harder to resist. My first thought was that I loved them of course, but had no idea what I'd wear them with since the shoes would have to be the main focus. But after many recurring visits to ShoeDazzle, all within the first hour, I finally gave in. My excuse for this impulse buy: Life is short, buy the shoes! Just like with clothes, its nice to spice up a shoe closet with fun prints and bright colors every now and then. If you would like to purchase the Nylah by Madison, you can buy it (here).
