Shoe of the Week: Carine by ShoeDazzle

Whenever I posted outfit photos, I found myself to be talking more about the shoes than the actual outfits, so I've decided to start a "Shoe of the Week" series on my blog in honor of my love for shoes. Every Monday, I will bring out a pair from my closet, whether its a new pair, recently worn, or one that has been forgotten, and I'll provide the link to the shoe, or a similar option. Hope you girls enjoy!
This week's shoe is the Carine by Shoedazzle. Red was probably the only color I didn't have in my shoe collection so when I came across these on ShoeDazzle, I had to get them. Lately I've been ditching the 6 inch platform pumps and purchasing more of the classic pointed toe style, and these were not the exception. I love the d'Orsay and am obsessed with the pink soles. The heel is 4.5 inches and although has no platform, it is surprisingly very comfortable. You can see how I styled them (here) and if you like them, you can buy the shoes (here)

I Heart Mustache

shirt: (similar), jeans via Jcp, bag:c/o Oasap, bracelet:c/o Sparkling PM, nails: imPRESS press-on manicure c/o ShoeDazzle, shoes:Carine via Shoedazzle(here)

Went for a simple casual look here: a white loose tee, jeans, and heels. I actually wanted to, and by that I mean asked my boyfriend, to rip these jeans for me after seeing so many DIY's on youtube, but repented.. I kind of like the classic dark rinse look on these jeans and didn't want to destroy them. Although I haven't been able to find a pair of ripped jeans I like since they're either too expensive or not what I'm looking for, I can't bring myself to alter any of my jeans even if I don't really wear them. I guess I'll just have to keep looking and hope I get lucky with an already perfectly ripped pair to purchase.

Dots & Spikes

I remember when I first saw these shoes, I knew I had to have them. I think I treated myself with these around my birthday, and literally only wore them once. Don't get me wrong, I love them and they're one of my top favorites, but they run a little small and I went true to size. I still have to break them in, so until I walk around my house in these with socks on, I will only continue to wear them for short periods of time. I also feel like I have to take extra care of these, since Bakers went out of business and they're not going to be making any more of these babies.. makes me feel like I was one of the lucky few to get my hands on these and many others.

Pink Spring

I didn't think neon colors would make a comeback this year, but I'm so glad they did for a variety of reasons. Last season I went crazy with this trend, buying everything from blouses to pants, to at least three different pairs of shoes. Being a college student with only a retail job and a really bad shopping and hoarding addiction, I have to make sure that all my purchases are "smart." This means that not only should they be at a reasonable price, but should also be pieces that I can wear over and over again for years to come. Not only do these happen to be one of my favorite pair of shoes, due to the classic style in a fluorescent color, but they also look really cute in my collection.

Bright Red on Ombre Denim

Finally I get to take pictures in these pants! I got these back during the holiday season. You know there were great sales going on, and I was able to score these for like $10! Such a great deal right? I am infatuated with the bright color of this classic tailored piece. And you most definitely cannot beat the price.
