Orange Floral

Top/Skirt: Forever 21, Shoes: Chinese Laundry, Clutch: Bakers

These are all recycled items, worn on the blog plenty of times. Being the hoarder that I am, I can't part with them; I feel like they're all timeless pieces that I can continue to style and make my closet look pretty of course. There's something about delicate chiffon blouses, flowy skirts and lace-up platform sandals that I just can't seem to get enough of..  Have a wonderful weekend loves.

High-Waisted Chic

Top: Forever 21, Pants: Cotton On, Shoes: Olsenboye (here), Satchel/Bracelet: H&M, Michael Kors watch.

I always swore that I would NEVER wear high-waisted pants.. well you know what they say, never say never! Styles evolve, and this trend has surely made its way into my closet. These pants are probably one of my favorites, making me feel so sophisticated and stylish both at the same time. I wore this last Friday to watch the premiere of Fast Six in Hollywood, where both Tyrese and Ludacris walked in to the theater in the middle of the movie!! After it was over, we walked around for what seemed like hours. Reminder to not ever wear new heels that need to be broken in if a lot of walking is going to be involved.

Shoe of the Week: Olsenboye Rumer Patent Ankle-Strap Heels

A couple of weeks ago I talked about my latest obsession with high heeled sandals. My first choice was Gucci of course, but considering how I don't have $700 to spare, I had to search for a more affordable option. I originally planned on buying the Realove by Steve Madden, but even they're a little pricey at $80.. and then, I came across these babies! They look exactly like the Steve Madden realove, (trust me I physically compared them) only difference is that these are less than half the price! The brand is Olsenboye, by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and it is sold exclusively at JcPenney. I was shocked at the amazing quality of the shoe and the affordable price of only $35. I always get so excited when I find great deals like this, where its basically the same shoe for a fraction of the price. So ladies, if you want to buy them, you can purchase (here)

Eyelet Detail

dress:(similar), shoes: H by Halston, satchel: H&M, sunglasses: Versace

Eyelet dresses are such a fun summer trend. I particularly adore the color of this one; peach is such a great color for this time of year, making your tanned skin stand out that much more. I love the back detail, on top of the eyelet it also has cute little flowers in the pattern. I'm sure that this dress is going to be one of my staples this season, so be prepared to see it styled many more times.

Shoe of the Week: Palaace by Bakers

Here's another one of my many pairs from Bakers. The Palaace is one of those shoes where you plan the outfit around. I just feel that it's so glam, with the satin material, and studded crystals, that they would be the main focus when paired with any outfit. This shoe is no longer available, but I was able to find another pair of berry colored heels for only $14!! You can purchase them (here).

Shoe of the Week: Gucci Victoire Sandal

This week I bring to you not a pair from my actual collection, but one that I would kill to have! We all know that high heeled sandals are such a huge trend this season, but these ankle cuff Gucci sandals have become the "it" shoe. From celebrities like Cameron Diaz and Solange Knowles, to bloggers like Annabelle Fleur from Viva Luxury and StilettoMeUp, have been rocking this fabulous shoe. The black patent leather combined with the single toe strap, and 4.3" heel, add such sophistication, making this the literally perfect summer shoe. If you can afford these $695 babies, you can buy them (here). Otherwise, I found a similar option from Steve Madden for only $80 that you can buy (here)

Two-Tone Maxi Dress

Dress c/o eShakti (here), Bracelets c/o clothingloves, Shoes: Bakers (here)

I wore this dress on Sunday, and let me just say I am obsessed with it! Maxi dresses are perfect for this time of year, not only are they super comfy and make you look like a goddess, but they're super easy to throw on and style. This charcoal and navy two-toned design by eShakti is simply perfection. The colors make such a great contrast and the keyhole front adds such a feminine appeal.  As for the shoes, I went with nearly 6-inch heels to give the illusion of more height and because I obviously didn't want the dress dragging on the floor. I'm thinking of getting it shortened so I can comfortably wear it with flat sandals, but I also love the length like this.. what do you ladies think?

Shoe of the Week: Encore by Bakers

This week's shoe is the Encore by Bakers. Ever since this shoe first came out, I wanted them. My only dilemma was deciding whether to get the black or blue. Black goes with everything, but the electric blue stands out so much more. I love the dual straps with the adjustable buckle, its such a sexy shoe! The heel is almost 6 inches but the 1 1/2 inch platform really helps. Even though Bakers already closed, you can still buy the shoe (here) and stay tuned to see how I wore them .. the full outfit post coming up this week!

The Savannah by eShakti

A while back ago I was contacted by eShakti asking me to do a product review. What I really loved about them is that they offer both design and fit customization for women size 0-36 for only $7.50! I've always had a problem with my dresses because I'm petite and curvy so this is perfect for other women like me. Its really easy to tailor any item with their simple 3-step design and fit page. You enter your body measurements and your height and you can change the dress length and remove the pockets. I actually shortened the size of this dress and I absolutely love it! When I first ordered it I thought of pairing it with classic pointed toe pumps but after seeing how Lauren Conrad wore a similar one with wedges (here), I loved the way it looked, and so I decided to go with wedges as well. Next time I wear it I'll go for the more classic look.
