It's a GIRL!!!!

We're having a baby girl!!!! You guys, this post has been a long time coming. I first found out the gender at 17 weeks, before I even announced my pregnancy. It was right before Christmas, and I remember going to the mall with my mom. We were at Zara, and she picked out the cutest little pink eyelet top for the baby. She bought it and I asked her how she could be so sure, she just said she knew, moms sense these kinda things.  From the moment I found out I was pregnant both her and my husband were like "it's a girl." I had a feeling too since this pregnancy has been so different from Sebastian's. That day I had a doctor's appointment, and right after seeing the ultrasound I had the urge to know for sure. I called my mom and we headed back to the mall, where they perform the 4D ultrasounds. The tech told us it was indeed a baby girl. That was the first time Sebastian saw her, and he was all excited. I swear she even waved at us lol. We called everyone, and celebrated with pizza and movies afterwards. I didn't opt for a gender reveal because I don't like surprises, and I love the idea of sharing these intimate, precious moments with my family.
At my 20 week scan, the doctor confirmed the gender and that's when I was fully convinced. At the end of the day, we just care for a healthy baby, but the fact that we have our boy and pretty soon our little girl is just so amazing. Irven even bought her her first little tutu and bow, needless to say he's thrilled haha. I can't wait to see how Sebastian will be to her, although the thought of him being a big brother is still so surreal.

Mexicali Dress

Happy Saturday! If there's one thing I love it's flowy fun dresses. They take no effort to put together and  I always go for them when I can't think of anything to wear. I wore this dress out to lunch with my mom and Sebastian last week. We came across the cutest little cafe in Long Beach called "Vibes," definitely recommend if you live in the area!  While shopping for clothes lately, I mostly look for pieces that can work even after the baby is born.

Favorite Cardigans

| Cardigan: Express | V Neck: Motherhood maternity | Jeans: Zara

It's no secret that I'm an avid Express shopper, probably over half of my closet is from there. I love their prices, quality, and fit. They also always have great sales going on all the time, and not to mention the rewards! You accumulate them so fast it makes it so worth it. I recently purchased a sweater and jacket and ended up paying only $5!!! They're my go to store for all my cardis and sweaters. I picked this one up for Spring, I really needed a neutral cover up that was good for cold weather. I got the size small and feel like it's still a bit oversized so definitely size down! Also wanted to round up some of my current favorite picks from their site.

Winter in LA

You guys, I'm so over this weather. Living in SoCal has made us so spoiled, where we can't handle the temps dropping below 60 degrees, much less rain. Shooting pictures has been such a fail. We even tried to shoot the gender reveal this past weekend, when it randomly started pouring, and this was after I had checked the weather app and it said it wasn't going to rain. It just makes it so hard to function and I'm more than ready for it to go back to being Sunny all year round. I've been wearing all my cozy knits and booties nonstop. I always like to stock up after Christmas because that's when the best sales are! Sweaters also never really go out of style so I love being able to add on to my collection even with the growing bump. I usually size up for an oversized fit and that's been working great with the belly.

DHC Super Long Mascara EX

Hi guys! If you follow me on Instagram you probably already saw my post about this new mascara I got the chance to try. But for those of you that don't I didn't want you to miss out on this AMAZING product so decided to share it on the blog as well.
So I got to try the new DHC mascara and it has seriously become a game changer in my makeup routine! My lashes have never looked longer and fuller. Other mascaras have thinned my eyelashes, but the new Super Long Mascara EX even has a nourishing complex of vitamin E, algae-derived extract and silk protein that help fortify your lashes.

These are my lashes before/after trying the new DHC Super Long Mascara EX! It makes such a difference, and I really love that it added length and volume without feeling heavy and looking clumpy.

I use this Eye & Lip Makeup Remover and Silky Cotton pads to gently remove my eye makeup before bed. The makeup remover is made with coconut oil to moisturize, and the squares are made from 100% cotton wrapped in a silk blend and won't snag on your lashes or brows. It was really easy to get all the mascara off and not one of my lashes were damaged in the process. You can buy them (here).

The mascara is water resistant and lengthens the lashes by combining three lengths of fiber for a high-impact look. The curved brush makes it easy to apply with precision while adding a gentle curl. You can purchase it  (here).

Thank you to DHC for sponsoring  today's post! All opinions are my own.

Striped tie front top

Happy Friday and first of the month! I swear it felt like January lasted forever, I kept feeling like I had to play catch up and couldn't wait for it to be over. I love the thought of a new month and new goals to be set. I want to focus on posting a couple more times a week which means creating more content on my free time. The blog has been getting an awesome response this past month and I wanted to thank everyone that still visits every day even though I don't get to update it daily, it truly means the world! I finally feel like I'm getting to dive back into it and it's such a great feeling. I have so many fun collabs in the works and can't wait to share with you all. Hope you have a great weekend and thanks again for stopping by.
