Polka Dotted and Selma Part 2

With Valentine's day coming up this Friday, I wanted to get in the spirit by creating 3 different looks for this special day. This is the first outfit: a black and white polka dotted button up blouse and high-waisted bright red dress pants. Classic and polished, ideal for a day at the office. About the bag, here is the second Selma from Michael Kors. I've always been a little skeptical with buying the same item in different colors, but I simply couldn't just pick one this time! The neutral is such a pretty warm tone, but black goes with everything. I ended up convincing myself that I would get so much use out of them, and would not buy any more..(for now at least).

Finally some cold weather! I've honestly been eager for the temperatures to drop just to give me an excuse to bring out my floppy hat and knee high leather boots. Who doesn't love winter outfits? I went for another super simple look: black leggings, a neutral sweater, and accessorized with the leopard print and floppy hat. I've always liked how hats look on people, just never pictured myself wearing them. When styling my outfits, I tend to focus on the clothes and shoes, and kind of forget about the accessories. I've really been trying to put more emphasis on the jewelry, scarfs hats, and bags lately. After all, that is what ultimately completes a look and transforms it from simple to chic.
