U.S. Open of Surfing

I know that I usually just post outfit photos, but I wanted to do something a little different today. You know that Southern California is known for Surfing, so this event suits it perfectly. If you live in the area, or maybe even if you don't, you've probably heard of the U.S. Open of Surfing. It's a week-long surfing competition that is held annually. Not only do you get to watch surfers compete, but there's also tents set up where you can shop and receive free goodies! Its hosted in Huntington beach and it is a free event. It will be going on until August 5^th so if you live in the area, you can still go! This was my first time attending, and I absolutely loved it! I can't believe I hadn't attended sooner. About my outfit, I kept it simple since it is the beach. I love the contrast this turquoise top makes with my neon yellow shorts. I hope you like the pictures and have a wonderful weekend dolls!

Bohemian Top

Hey loves! I feel like I've been gone for so long! Well I have, but that's because I don't have internet at home right now so I've had to resort to trips to Starbucks and occasionally steal the neighbor's WiFi..which by the way, have sadly both backfired on me. Not only have I gained like 5 lbs from drinking so much Starbucks, but the neighbors I think caught on and locked their connection..*sigh* But I really hope to get connected soon again. So please excuse my lack of responding to comments. I actually receive and read every single one of them, I just can't respond because apparently my Blackberry thinks, "Sorry! We're closing this page because it is too large to load." Its such torture I know. Onto my outfit, this is what I wore yesterday. I just threw on this cute top with my jeggings. I'm loving the boho vibe in this top, so I let my hair loose and did a little braid to add on to the bohemian. At first I wasn't happy with the way the pictures turned out, they were taken when the sun was in full effect, and I just felt like the lighting was completely off. But now, I'm kind of liking them! As a matter of fact, I feel like the lighting really compliments the look, they have sort of a retro effect.  What do you think?
